Emojis are protected by copyrights

According to New Scientist magazine, aproximately 6 billion messages are exchanged daily with emojis by people using social media applications. The famous “little faces” are part of our communication and are present in the routine of the world population in several ways. However, there are limitations for using this style of language due to the rules imposed by copyright protection, as well as rules for using it and registering it as a trademark.
